The parikrama is about 52 kilometers and it is important pilgrimage for Hindus, Buddhists and Jains.
Start from Darchen and drive to Tarboche and trek to Dirapuk about seven kilometers. It takes five to six hours
Nyalam
Nyalam is situated 3750 meters above sea level.It is the last larger town before Zhangmu and the bridge across into nepal If you are coming from kathmandu,take care of sudden altitude and nausea.
The road is tough one that is why It is nicknamed as Gate of Hell.
