My Dream comes true
My dream always had been to stay in a nice hotel near Times Square. It came true this Thanksgiving day when our friend booked a hotel suite at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square and invited us to stay with them.
Marriot Marquis is within walking distance of Broadway theaters, Radiocity Music Hall and NBC studios. It is a very beautiful hotel with a unique elevator system. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. We watched the Macy's Parade from our hotel room, which was very convenient.
We stayed for 2 days -Thursday and Friday. We attended Thanksgiving lunch at Allens's apartment. Except for the turkey, all the dishes he had cooked were vegetarian and exceedingly delicious. He had done a lot of renovation in his apartment and he showed us the changes with a lot of affection.
We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Saravanas located on 26th and Lexington, which is our favorite Indian restaurant. We also visited South Street Seaport and Wall Street. Weather co-operated with us these 2 days enabling us to enjoy New York thoroughly.
